Where did you get the helper bags? I've been bottoming out since I lowered it back in 07, whenever I have 2 people in the 2nd row or have the back loaded. They look like they can help?

Also, question: You cut out a piece of the frame?!?!?!?!

How low did you go???

Did you do the free travel mod???

Did you have/keep the auto leveling rear shocks???

To answer your question... I ordered them online.

They are helper bags for a Nissan Pathfinder/Armada... Air lift model number 60742

My truck has a 4/6 kit and I did the free travel mod and installed a set of air shocks that are the same length as the Belltech Street Performance drop shocks in order to maintain the auto leveling feature.

I cut a notch in a crossmember that goes between the main frame rails... not the actual frame rail.

I was getting a bumping/banging in the rear when I would hit a sharp dip in the road prior to installing these bags.

I have not tried letting all the air out of the bags in order to see if notching the crossmember fixed the issue or if it was the bags or a combination of both... but it no longer bottoms out either way.

So I took the Tahoe for a camping trip for a few days up near Pittsburgh and the mountains. Didn't have any trouble before that I noticed besides a squeaky belt. I figured i would run a can of seafoam in the tank to clean it out a bit and maybe get a lil better mpg (far-fetched I know). So on a stop on the way up, I noticed a burning smell and got out and checked. Nothing under the hood. Walked around and seen smoke coming from the front passenger side wheel. Then it clicked, I was wondering why I was struggling to make it up these mountain passes and hills at 55mph. I used about 3/4 of a tank of gas to go 130 miles. My caliper was stuck I presumed. So, got the rest of the way there, and went to Monroe the next day. Said the wheel was spinning freely just like the rest, but I had them change the caliper anyways.
Thought I was good, then when leaving, stopped at a light, I smelled it again. Pulled off and looked and seen a lil smoke. I'm pissed at this point. So, I tried to think of anything else it could be. I figured maybe for some reason it was stuck in 4high/auto (I had it in 2wd). So, I turned it to auto and let it lock in place, drove a little, then put it back in 2wd and drove until the next turnpike station. Got out and it was fine. No smoke and no smell.
All of the mileage gauges and DIC controls show everything normal. Avg 18.1 mpg on the way back and used around a 1/4 tank of gas. 7.6gal of gas used.
Maybe I am paranoid, but I have been watching the gas gauge like crazy and feel like I am just watching it drop. Could the seafoam have eaten through a line? Could it have caused a problem somewhere?
I don't really wanna drop it off at the mechanic and have it looked at, but then again I do for reassurance.

Thoughts/ideas?
