Ok, my originals and the Magnaflows have no numbers on them. I wonder if that is the only difference.

Hmm, let me think for a second, no, don't remember my originals having any numbers on them, but my memory is not the greatest.

Alright, so if I'm understanding this right, the replacements have to have a CARB number and apparently that's the only difference between a Federal and California cat when it comes to these trucks? The originals would not have to be labeled such as they would be identified through the VIN and RPO?

I don't know if the originals have a number on them or not never really paid attention to that, and I don't know what the difference is for them federal vs California, I had a 4runner that was federal and it passed California everytime, except one place read it was federal on the tag and said they couldn't smog it, so I went down the street to another place and they passed it, lol.

Changed the air pump out, works Everytime now and I can hear it release the air each restart so I'm sure that was the problem, easy job.

Maybe 20 mins to change. Idk about the spare since i dont have one haha. The hardest part was getting the tube up by the gas cap.

Completed mine this morning. Took me 45 minutes. 30 of that was hacking with that stupid spare. Horrible hoist design imo

If it was my DD I would have taken it out long ago but it’s my wife’s so it’s still down there so she can’t say it’s not lol

Drove it up to about 9000ft, with the coolmax and self upgraded k5l hd cooling the trans hit 186 and temp was about 215 pushing it kinda hard
