All for LED technology but they're too bright for my eyes for the interior and my wife doesn't like them either. Maybe if someone were to make them more subdued to emulate incandescant bulbs. I know they do make such individual LEDs because I've done this with RC Tanks.
Yup. I love the bright LEDs for the exterior bulbs, but a bit glarey for me for interior. OTOH, if I end up doing my cluster in LEDs... I’ll likely be replacing other interior bulbs as well...

I’ll Probly pull the trigger today on something to blackout some of the chrome. Thinking I’m going to start with the long door pieces, window trim, and fender “vents.” Leaving the rack, handles, and running boards.

I really like those tail lights. They aren't factory are they?

I believe they are factory. It’s a 2013 if that matters.

If I can find a removable film or spray I’ll give them a light tint. I don’t want anything permanent on them.

I've used VHT Nite-shades spray on another vehicle years ago. Just one coat was enough to reduce contrast between the black paint on the truck and the bright red of the lenses. It didn't seem to dim the light output, either. I masked off the reverse lenses, which were clear, so they'd have full brightness. I never tried to remove it. But it shouldn't be that hard to polish it off with a little compound.

Installed a new black mesh grill and a newer 2015 Escalade style emblem on the 07. Covered the chrome hood trim piece with gloss black vinyl and it came out terrible. I'll re-do it when i get some time. I'm gonna black out the headlights and tint the fog lights as soon as it warms up here in Austin and maybe black out the chrome on the new emblem.

That vinyl can be really tricky. I had to learn using small pieces. It's probably a little easier when it's warm out. Still, it looks great in the photo. I like the mesh grille.

Messing around with cars/home improvements over the years I've learned that there's 3 things I suck at... spray painting, caulking, and any kind of vinyl application. Maybe I'll get there one day ;)

And thanks btw
