I usually see a lot of a creamy water-oil emulsion pool there. I sop it up with a towel and it just reappears the next time I check it 8-10k miles later.

The metal line blew out of the side of the trans? Yikes!

Yeah the quick connect popped off. I think the line wasn’t pushed all the way in because the clip was still there. It was like that when I bought the truck I guess .

That's pretty cool. When AFM first came out in the 900s, the Avalanche guys using HP Tuners were tweaking the settings to have it run longer. The problem with the 5.3s is they really need to make an extra 5-6 horsepower per cylinder to move the duty cycle up from 10 to 50 percent or more in the SUVs.

I beat my old record for AFM had her at 85mph in v4 last week

I don't that there is a limitation on the V4 mode she should be able to do the governor in v4 mode or 95mph that will be about 1950rpm @ 95mph FE should be about 45mpg at that speed and RPM
