I realized that right after I replied to Steve and was gonna say something, buuuuut... I don't wanna draw so much attention to the negatives *facepalm*

Hey, at least I got out there and did something! Hoping to get to the salvage yard tomorrow so I can accomplish another small task.

Welp. Its that time of year again. Shoving some rags behind the window and the window frame and actually having curtains this time around seems to be helping a lot with how warm it is inside the main room but time will tell. Really the main thing is this unit is way too small for the size of the room. I may go to thrift store and pick up another equally as old unit for $50. We will be having heat pumps installed either way, but these will be nice to have for the garage post heat pump installation.

That's why those side to side windows suck. I had those windows in my old house. I put a window unit in, then cut a piece of plywood, covered it in plastic and blocked the hole. It was good to go til I got central air.
