Are the caliper slide pin boots replaceable? I have 2 that have holes and allowing the pin to stick.

Also what pad hardware are you guys running? I broke 2 of those pad stoppers circled below in red. I had bought them from O'Reilly the beginning of this year. The material is pretty weak. Never had one break till now.

Good luck, I tried a couple of those kits the dam boot just rips because it has to be pressed in I ended up just buying new calipers, maybe a it takes a special hand but didn't work out for me


The ones that came with my Powerstop kit had no issues like that. I used a poor man's press (socket) and tapped them in that way. Then you got to watch when you grease the pin and slide it in it wants to balloon open. I use a pick tool to hold it open and let the air escape as I slide the pin in.
