What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

I just dumped 6 more quarts of transmission fluid and added 6 more. That’s 18 quarts through it now. Should be nice and clean. I‘m thankful for the new pan with the drain plug. So easy.

Mine has had 1 single xmission drain and fill at around 60K miles around 8 years ago - sitting at I think 90K now and wandering should I put new fluid in before I tow a 20 foot trailer across the county to Ohio ?

Thoughts ??

Interesting, but I don't think we have any Marathon stations around Denver, so I'm wondering what refinery would supply either the gas or E85 product.

The only gas refinery in Colorado (Suncor - https://www.suncor.com/en-ca/what-we-do/refining/commerce-city-refinery) is just now starting to supply gas again after being shut down for about 3 months. Not sure if they produce E85, but maybe @TollKeeper would know.

I’m sure it would be ok but for my piece of mind, I would. Definitely buy the pan with a drain plug. Makes it so easy. As cheap as the fluid is, with a drain plug you can drain it every 10k miles.

did front brake pads. Autozone elite pads no complaints feel good nice and quiet. Also ordered a set of the vigor shocks for the rear. Need to check if the compressor is burnt out. I’m pretty sure it is cause both rear shocks had the rubber torn all the way around.

YES! By 45K the fluid is dead and why start off towing with fluid that's past its prime?

My friend and I took some things too big for trash man to the dump. 99 times out of 100 I can back up a trailer like nobody’s business. But this time I almost backed into someone and had to try three times. Must have been the smell affecting me!
