huh. I was wondering if it was just mine. I believe they have a 5 year warranty. I keep meaning to send pics and see what they say.

if not, I guess I'll polish them up and see about some ppf
they should have a 10 year warranty but pretty sure that does not cover fading from the sun, I would be pretty surprised if they coughed up new ones for that.
the tail lights I put the silverado have zero fading and they have been on longer

I think I'll try, I've good luck with the retro fit source replacing stuff without a hassle.

I'll let you know what they say. this tx sun is brutal, but I still feel like they should have handled it better. mine with the lights on looked like there was a bit of that crazing going on too and that doesn't sand out. the oem corvettes do that badly and you gotta replace the lenses. the Morimoto corvette ones definitely don't do this or those guys would lose their minds lol.

Installed Dobinsons rear springs and new Air Lift 1000 bags from Baseline Overland (https://baselineoverland.com/produc...2007-on-with-660-880-lb-constant-load-c09-037) yesterday and today. Much beefier than the Moog 81069s they replaced; will hook up tomorrow for a trip through the Adirondacks so we shall see how they handle my 17' Winnebago which now has a hitch weight of 600 lbs thanks to 30 lb propane tanks, a 20 lb propane tank on the shelf next to 10 gallons of gas in two jerry cans, 3 Victron 60 Ah AGM batteries (moved into the cargo hold of the trailer but still up front), and the usual load of crap in said cargo hold.

It definitely sits an inch or more higher than even the Moogs (up to 15" between the fender radius and the lip of my wheels now). Much thicker wire coils wound more closely together. There's no give in these things. It also dances across railroad tracks now when nothing is in the back. My hope is that we don't have to use the bags while towing but I put them in there in case we do. Had to move the front spring perches up one notch to keep from looking like a moonshiner. Will try to get pix tomorrow if it's not pouring like predicted.

Reviews after the trip...

And here's the review. First, it sits higher. The Moog springs added height but not like these. I can't get into the covered parking garage near my office on campus anymore. With camping, fishing, and recovery gear in the back of the 'Burb, some beach stuff on top, and the trailer hooked up (all 600 lbs of hitch weight), it's all well controlled. As you can see from the photo - it's riding far more level than before, even with bags helping the Moogs. We drove with and without 35 pounds of air in the bags to little noticeable difference. The air added some sense of side-to-side stability, for lack of a better phrase and I had no worries towing without air. These are excellent springs for what I need. Baseline Overland has several different stiffness springs in this line and for anyone not needing the extreme support I was looking for, you may find a solution there.

Highly recommended.

A note on the attached photo - this is the only shot I got of the rig on the trip and yes, there is a block under the front jack but it is barely used - just enough to keep the trailer from rocking fore and aft on the sway bars, which might damage the stabilizers. This is pretty much our stance going down the road now.

Somehow ordered two oil pan gaskets, one OEM, and one Felpro. Which one should I use? Or does it not matter?
Depends on if they are both made of the same material.
I would use whichever one looks more durable based on material and how well the gasket is made.

I know I've seen it, but don't remember what brand you guys are using for sway bar end links.

I drove mine first thing this morning for the first time in a while and it's squeaky, goes away after a few miles. I'm guessing it's end links? they look fine thou.

I'm half temped to try some poly lube on them, but if replacement are cheap and decent quality. probably not worth it.
