all I can say is a used vin 0 engine (long block) is about $1500 online all day long with free delivery, book for R&R on a long block is about 15-16 hours
and $1000 for parts?? seriously.....

Are you doing it, or is this just an estimate? Pretty pricey either way--imo.

Just a quote for now. It seems to be the going rate with the 2 shops that quoted me so far. This one is for new GM crate motor.

Went by the muffler shop this morning and they said the only thing they've had whistle was the tip which they changed and we cut it off and now the sound is gone, so gotta figure out something for the tip
