On an exhaust related note, I am seriously considering having the cats removed on mine since I don't have to smog it, ever.

I would just get rid of the 3rd - unmonitored - cat. Your engine will be stinky with all three removed.

I assume you have a tune ready to deal with the DTCs.

You will also lose some bottom end torque unless you downsize your Y-pipe... don't ask me how I know :emotions33:

How is that even possible if adding LT headers - effectively letting the engine breath a ton better right off the cylinder heads - instantly increases HP/TQ across the entire RPM range?

I don't want to start another "backpressure is needed" debate, because it's not a debate, and has been debunked many times.
