Just the H9s that came in them. I've got a set of Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights on the way, along with SAE driving lenses to convert them to driving lights, so I'll have plenty of high-beam light.

FWIW, there are a number of Hella 90mm LED and HID headlights, but they're a lot deeper and I wasn't sure if they'd fit lengthwise.

After looking at the umpteen threads about installing projectors in the stock housings, seeing all the aftermarket assemblies folks have been using, and going through my usual engineer "paralysis by analysis," I decided to try a different route. These are Hella 90mm (H9 65W) in a sacrificial Depo housing I'm only using for the protyping and testing. I'm only doing one side for now, but this should tell me what I need to know.

At this stage, I designed the mount plates so they could be used for either position, so they're not optimal for either position. There are two adjusters up top and one at the bottom, with the ones at the bottom being towards the middle, allowing individual access from the back side. I haven't figured out what I'm going to do about the lights not filling the existing bezel fully, but it'll likely be some kind of "sclera" in either polished aluminum or black.

We'll see how this works on a long drive I'll be doing soon.

very nice. I love a good headlight project.

I just got back from what turned into a 5h night drive on a GPS adventure thru the never ending back roads in tx. always thankful for good lights when it's pitch black and have no idea where the roads are going but the speed limit start at 70 haha.

tx thinks street lights are illegal lol. I had a rental house once and no joke, the street lights were part of the hoa fee because the city and county doesn't install them basically anywhere lol

Sounds like what it is like driving around WY once you get out of town anywhere.
It is pitch black out here on the country back roads.

With a warm day this week, I had a chance to get the first of multiple antennas mounted on the Tahoe. This one is for HF communications, and required an extra ground strap from the mount to the inner fender to get the best results.

So this was fun, driving home from work, stopped at the hobby shop to get soem RC parts, get back in truck and all my gauges are dead. DIC is dead, no gear indicator, chimes 3 times. Runs and drives just fine. Shut it off, opened the door to clear the power, restart, same thing. Drive it home and they never came back. Checked all my fuses, looks good, grounds initial check look fine. smacked the dash, nothing..smacked the cluster and when i started it back up, all is well..... guess that means the cluster has a connection issue??? i still need to check a drivers side ground that i saw referenced alot, but seemed weird to happen for sitting for just a couple minutes.

As far as what im doing, have oil cooler block off plate going on this weekend and possibly valve cover gaskets too
