What did you do to your NNBS GMT900 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Did some 2500 things, and picked up 60 gallons of distilled water. Amazing how 500lbs of water makes it ride like it's supposed to.

For those wondering, why??? My wife and I had our first born a month ago and are making formula!

Just the H9s that came in them. I've got a set of Diode Dynamics SS3 fog lights on the way, along with SAE driving lenses to convert them to driving lights, so I'll have plenty of high-beam light.

FWIW, there are a number of Hella 90mm LED and HID headlights, but they're a lot deeper and I wasn't sure if they'd fit lengthwise.

Finally washed all of the desert dirt off of it from Thanksgiving trip.
Now I need to slap some armor All on the tires and probably have to get E85 later today

Still need to empty out and clean the inside though

Thanks, I'd run across that in many threads here! I'll be fabricating my own wiring for this, as I'm not a fan of Scotchlok-type connections.

Wow. Making formula for just a single one month old baby?!?!

Did you really just buy 60 gallons just to make formula for one baby? Surely you’re going to use that for something else? That’s a bit much. I hope no one else in your area needed any.

You have to know that amount is a bit extreme; By extreme I mean that amount puts you in the apocalypse prep category.

First new born a month ago; So you’re still making just 2-4 oz bottles at a time. And thought you needed to buy 6-8 months worth of distilled water all at once?

This brings up some valid questions…

How many trips did it take you to get all those gallons from the store to your vehicle?
Using standard grocery carts or what?
Did you build a designated shelving unit just for the distilled water?
Does it have a label on it that says “Distilled water for formula use only”?
Do you have to drive over an hour away from your home to get to the nearest store that offers 1 gallon containers of distilled water?
Is there a shortage of distilled water in your area?
Did you know there is such a thing called “Nursey Water” available with or without fluoride specifically for making formula?

I can only speak for myself but I buy food/groceries/consumable goods when it is on sale, as much as I can reasonably use before it expires
I save hundreds of dollars doing this consistently. the only thing I am unable to buy in bulk when on sale is like milk or fresh vegetables because they go bad quickly.
bread can be frozen with no ill effects, some vegetables & milk maybe but i prefer not too
the more you can buy in bulk the more you can save IF you buy at the right price

Finally got the chance to give it another bath since I hit rain last weekend and it hadn't been washed in weeks before that because of the cold.
Was a blazing 50* today so I took advantage and washed it.
Also took care of a slight coolant leak from the lower radiator hose on the radiator side.
When I swapped hoses early this past summer I could not get enough room to reuse the spring clamp.
I even have spring clamp tools with the long wire, squeeze handle along with specific pliers and nothing would fit down there.
Finally gave up and used a worm clamp it needed to be tightened down.
If I ever pull the radiator I'll go back to a spring clamp.
