I need to get back to the beach one of these days. It’s been awhile and it’s only an hour and a half from my home to my favorite driving beach, Long Beach in WA. It’s about 26 miles of beach iirc that you can drive on.

I need to check out that thread since I own two completely original cars from the 20's.I’m putting a 1941 Cadillac on the Yukon platform. I’ll post a thread for it sometime soon.
I've seen a few videos and there was always a mix of clips, some had plastic some had metal.Might have been replaced at some point, mine have metal clips all around
This isn't necessarily relevant to any dash unit, but I use Organic Maps, which uses Open Street Maps data. Once the data files are on your phone or tablet, you need no connectivity for navigation.I'm just curious about maps that work when the cell phone doesn't have the cell connection. Like out in the boonies with a real GPS.
I should have known it wasn’t California, you can’t drive on the beaches there can you? Most of Oregon and Washington is open to vehicles. It’s great to see the people from elsewhere get stuck in the sand. That's where we are, visiting family this weekend

I have seen people stuck out here a couple times, but not this trip, the sand is pretty damp right now so all of it is easy to drive on. Pismo beach would be the closest one to me but still like 3 hours awayI should have known it wasn’t California, you can’t drive on the beaches there can you?
