I loosened the upper bolts when I did mine too. Made the job much easier.

For those with autoride struts reading this, remember to hit the electrical connector on top of them with electrical contact cleaner before reassembly (assuming you have them), or you'll get a suspension code. I've seen it happen to a few people here.
I didn't unplug the connector on top I just loosened the 3 nuts and let it dangle
then went and looked up the torque specs and tightened it back up I think it was 34 or 37lbs

Actually, this is helpful, because it'll remind me to remove the swaybar frame mounts, and grease those bushings up. I'm hoping that's the squeaky noise culprit. It's driving me insane with the windows down. Sounds like a high-pitched mouse "eeep eeep" noise.
the sway bar is easy if you have the wheels up and end links loose or off then just do one d bushing, bolt it back up then do the other side. that way your not fighting the weight of the bar very much. I have the hellwigs so there heavier anyway.

That’s because the bags had 45-50 PSI, pretty much at ride height. Aired out, the pinch welds lay on the ground. It has a stock floor body drop, the frame is custom built from 2 x 3 tube steel. No need to channel the body- that would be the easy way and look bad on the interior. ;) :happy107::cool:
I want that look my 77 lol. Low and Slow baby

Now just trying to find some camber bolts... NAPA website listed just the bolts as in-stock, but the guy on the phone couldn't find them. About to call AutoZone and O'Reilly. For a temporary fix to limp to the store, I found some new control arm bolts from my old Armada to jam in there for the ride to the store and back.

this is part of the reason why I always have 2 vehicles even if one is a pos beater or something that rolls. If I had room I would have 4-5 again, but no parking spots around here.
if one goes down just jump in another...
that bolt didn't look all that rusty, I wonder if someone over torqued it in the past...

Yeah, I used to have two cars for summer/winter, but I've been "blessed" with such reliability out of this Yukon. Stupid bolt.

This is me, in a nutshell. I like having backups.
