Yes 7, that I was I done with the chrome wheels because I got tired of swapping out in the winter and back on in spring and they still peeled up. But was walking into a wheel shop and was going to get some Choppers and the UPS guy was right behind me with that fresh set non on the street then and told me I can get those in 22 with Nitto's for $1800 out the door locks, lugs, and mounted and havent been off yet except for warranty work and on 3rd set of tires.

Here is the thread. This is not my write up, got from another forum site.

Ok I just did this mod and snapped a few pics along the way :eyecrzy:

Went from this:

To this:

1st step get the lights out of the truck :smokin:

2nd I located a place where i could solder in to the curcuit board. I took a knife to open up the spots a little bigger:

IMG_3449.jpg

Then I soldered 2 wires to the curcuit board (sorry the pics a a bit blurry):

Then I routed the wires up the curcuit board and soldered them to the "bright" side of the upper bulb (should be the outer contacts on the bulb):

Make sure when you route the wires that they aren't under the seal (to pervent leaks) or against the bulbs cause they do get hot!
