The pressure level on a vortec is also much higher than a TBI. So not surprised you got a face full.

Picked these up last night. 255/70r18 bridgestone A/Ts. 5 low mile takeoffs from a new jeep wrangler. These are $198 new, I got all five for $325. :D

...judging from the alignment measurements my axle housing does not appear to be damaged...

What numbers are you reading that tell you that rear axle isn't bent?! Looks like it has an issue or two to me ...

unknown at this time.
i know that but to get those measurement to see condition of axle they set it up to display everything. at any rate those reading show right now nothing bad of the rear housing. those reading are nothing in terms of causing any issues. my used tires in the back i got in columbus, oh. are the issue. and most is gone after the re-balance. the wheels use adhesive weights so still a bit of vibes there. they will get chuck eventually for new tires.

took a video showing the mirror I bought a few months ago

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b_tdob6FFEM

Still waiting on my damn DVR cam for my truck that I bought 3 weeks ago. I hope its just taking a long time rather than getting stolen from my doorstep again. :flame:

saw the video and it looks nice! Do you have pics of where you mounted your reverse cam? I put a 2 din in my 99 Yukon and also have a back up cam but its the kind that mounts onto the license plate and I am considering other options as that might look kinda bad mounted there...
