Re did my front bumper. The 3m Paint Defender lasted 6 months. I decided to peel it off, since i scraped a little hole in it putting the bumper back on.. and ever since then water kept seeping underneath the coating. I got tired of looking at it, and peeled it all of. Resprayed and cleared the bumper since a few chips made it past the spray.
Clear is drying now. Gotta wait to wet sand, polish and buff..and wait for temps to get above 60 to use Paint Defender again.

No I cleaned up the latch mechanism where the actuator worked the locks at. I couldn't manually or electronically lick my back doors

I threatened to light it on fire, and then drive it off a cliff... Motor ran rough the other day, brought it into the shop.. Started with spark plug wires arcing, and fouled plugs, then to a new fuel spider.. Now, the &$^@#()ing thing has low compression in (3) cylinders... I think my OBS days might be over.
Unless of course I drop another $3500 into it ($2k for motor, $1k for install, $500 misc parts).... It's amazing that either a GM reman, GM NEW, or random reman is all $2k... GM Reman comes with 3 year unlimited miles. GM NEW comes with 3 year 100k. Random reman comes with 12 month/12k miles....

If I knew my ass from my elbow with trucks, I would do it.. But, unfortunately, I've been wiping my elbows with toilet paper for years, and nothing ever happens...
Sorry for your troubles, but that is a funny line!
No worries.. I find shituations like mine amusing anyway.. ;c)
