Installed SS brake lines from Classic Tube. Could have done it myself but I only had one day to do it so... $300 later its in. Saw a post on NBS MC and decided to do that too and i'm not impressed with the results. Will do hydro next summer. BTW the kit is nice however one of the pieces for the rear was the wrong one completely but re-bent it to make it work.

Also replaced the shifter cable after it being a little to tight for too long. Felt like I was going to bust another column shifter. Well the new cable is like night and day. I zip past D now and have to get used to the smoothness of it. Got it on Amazon for $46, not bad
Love that kit

Finally got the broken off exhaust studs out and re-tapped so I could get the headers put on. Couldn't believe how easily they just dropped right in. Only down side, the O2 sensor hole was on the wrong side, gonna see what I need to do about that.

Next is new plugs tonight and tomorrow the rest of the exhaust (dual 2.5",dual cat, dual super 44's with H-pipe).

Did you pull the motor out to get them broken studs out? I think I have 3 on driver side and 2 on pass side. I wouldn't mind changing these studs out before I put my new
Exhaust system.

Nope, did it right where it was at. Luckily it wasn't the back studs. I don't know if I could have gotten them without trying the weld method. That would be a last resort for me.

Anyway, the body lift helped to be able to do some of the work thru the wheel-well.

Well, I was taking off the stock exhaust manifold off to install headers (knowing that two bolts were already broken). So the manifolds were completely out of the way. They were broken off just inside the hole, I got a center punch to mark the center, drilled out the hole with a 5/16 bit, then tapped it with a 3/8 NC threader (the original threading). If you do this, take your time, if you break that threader or drill bit off in that hole, well good luck. Drill straight and when threading, for every little clockwise turn go back counterclockwise, and back it all the way out to clear out metal chunks.

They were the front holes on each side so like you said, very lucky.

The passenger side was pretty simple, the driver side, an entirely different story. There is a stupid bracket that comes off of the P/S pump that attaches to the front 2 studs of the exhaust manifold. I just cut it off on mine and will fabricate a new bracket. It's lazy, but I just didn't feel like dealing with that headache.

If the threads are sticking out you can always weld a nut onto it and work it out with a wrench.

Got the dual exhaust with H-pipe installed. Wow, what a difference. 2 Flowmaster Super 44's sound amazing.

Side Note: Not a lot of options for placement of the H-pipe on these short 2-doors but found a decent one.
