Was chatting with a client and he offered their ‘05 Denali from CO at a price I couldn’t pass up.
The rear brakes on my ‘99 were grabby and I still have some parts on my upgrade list I can’t use on the ‘05. I want it right when I sell it.
I hear you. Gotta make it right for the new owners.

Dropped the transmission pan, got covered in ATF and didn't put it all back together yet cause I couldn't get the filter seal out.
I asked a shady mechanic to do this about 15 years ago. It's my first time.
The crappy pics are out of focus but there was a fair bit of black crap and a couple piles of sludge in the center. The magnet was covered in it too. No chunky bits, just sludge.

New sanden ac compressor, ac delco orfice tube and ac delco dryer. Gonna be blowin snow! Fingers crossed it holds a vacuum tomorrow
Did you actually buy a Sanden or a Sanden type/style?
I've been wondering whether the extra $100 ish for the actual Sanden is worth it. Would like to change mine. It still works ok, but has always leaked.

Consoled myself with a free replacement battery from Pep Boys. I had 3 months left of a 3 year warranty. I knew it wasn't 100% after I charged it recently and it obviously failed their test.

Sanden is a very reputable company so I hope so. Let us know how it turns out.
