Looks same rocker covers as my 97 vortec 350
Have you worked out what issue is?
If it is the same model as mine it may be inlet manifold.
Using any water?
I haven’t had a chance to look at it but I’ll start by checking the inlet. It’s got a small leak at the side of radiator I need to replace to be able to tell. 99 Vortec 5.7

GM doesn’t show it as a part with the mirror, so it may be something that comes with the windshield to help the glue stick better.

That is a tapered wedge that is glued onto the window and the mirror base dovetails onto the wedge (locking it in place).

Got issues.

Got it home safe without getting creamed, but I'm not willing to drive it again until I get this figured out.

Dang, where does it keep failing?

I’m on my second since new so maybe I just got lucky.
It’s never left me stranded or overheated but they’ve all started leaking at the plastic sides. Maybe I’m just unlucky lol usually about 24 months in I have to start adding at the reservoir to keep it filled. Once I’m filling it back up each tankful I start planning on putting in a new one.
