these models are getting old.. so it took me a little over 5 years for me to find the right hoe. trust me... youll know when youve found the right one my friend. i fell in love the moment i drove up to meet the guy to check it out. I saw probably 20+ trucks before i found her. Keep looking until you get that feeling.

I am a rare breed that has owned mine for close to 16 years now. Like it was said, go check it out...if you like it get it. The KBB value is low though. I own four trucks: 97 2dr, 97 suburban, 99 blazer, 12 escape. The two door is valued the lowest...at $2,500.

I paid 6700 out the door at a GM used car lot in north dallas for a 97 4x4 yukon GT with 130,000 miles on it. It was unmolested, had a leaking manifold gasket. terrible tires. slight tearing in the front driver seat and extremely filthy carpet. Personally, that is a lot of money for that truck. Just my opinion.

To add: My yukon was totaled two Decembers ago... I recently bought a 2000 Cadillac Escalade with 134,000 miles on it for 7200 out the door, from Jerry's GM in Weatherford, TX. His cars always a tad bit higher... Look at his used car lot and you'll see what i mean... haha My escalade is in very very good condition. Just giving you an idea on what i paid for, for the two same era SUV's.

Paid $4700 for a '99 2dr with both the Z71 and Sport packages. Seems like they are a tad bit rarer. Has 188k with 1500 miles on a overhauled engine. Seemed like a good deal even though it will nickel and dime my OCD ass.

Paid 21K for mine... 23 years ago. :) Right now I wouldn't part with it for less than 35K.

unknown at this time.
rare or not I think i would offer less then a 4dr. my argument would be it is smaller with less cargo passenger space and so forth. Got to get someone to back down thinking they are going to get rich with a 2dr they sell.

6400 is he insane

this guy wants 6400 I thought it was a good deal with all the upgrades but I definitely don't wanna over pay for a vehicle with a lot of miles guess I need to keep looking

6400 is not a good deal by any means

see this is the peril of putting all kinds of money into an older vehicle
all that stuff he put on it doesnt increase the value of the vehicle
as far as resell a 96 tahoe 2wd id never pay more then 1500
becuase no one in there right mind would pay 6400 for a 96 when you can buy an 04 or 05 tahoe for less then that
