What does "p/d" mean on a code reader?

When I read codes with this little actron code reader, sometimes certain codes will show up twice on the list of codes, except for one of them will have a "p/d" after it. What does that mean? I tried a google search but couldn't come up with anything.

That seems odd since it already shows that code on the code reader, but then it shows the same exact code number just with p/d.

When I checked it right now, it said I had 5 codes. two being the same as two others except it had p/d so its like it really only has 3 codes

Probaby means pending as it see the issue coming up but has not reached it requirements to becoming a active code.

exactly. The code has made itself present but has not met the parameter to set the engine light.

Well if its pending how come there is already the same exact code that doesn't say pending? Its like one sets the light off and the other don't, but the first one has already set it so I don't understand how there can be one set and one pending of the same exact code.

unknown at this time.
Your particular scanner just could be trying to show the history and perhaps not live snapshot. Or that is it's way of showing a freeze frame data record.
