Just comparing to others. What ate you guys running at? I'm showing 14.5-15 volts at idle. Wonder if my battery is really bad or if I got a charging problem.

The alternator is just active and charging. When it's at a proper voltage it'll kick off and that's when you'll see it around the 12v mark

thats the thing though. Its always there. I need to do a battery test. Its seems to be going on 5 years on oem battery. Some days are fine and once in a while it seems be be slow start.

sumo, your picture looks just like the display on my Tahoe. The meter rarely (almost never) makes it back to straight up. It's almost always to the right of center. Just like me. :Big Laugh:

My battery died after 4 years last week... replaced with an Optima 34/78 and the starts don't seem as sluggish anymore. I don't know why it's not listed as fitting, because it fit perfectly in the factory spot and the brace fit as well.
