Dont kill me guys, im new to the chevy family, or working on cars period lol. Bought a 95 tahoe and dropped an engine from a 98 in it. and I fell in love with it! since, ive out a series 50 flowmaster dual exhaust, cold air intake, new high flo cat, etc. And my next step was going to get some shorty headers since im craving more HP and a meaner sound.

Before signing up here, I had never heard of BB Tune, can anyone help me out? What exactly does the tune consist of? and what are the benefits? and any other suggestions to get more out of my truck besides headers and BB Tune?

Yes its just a custom chip. Your shifts will be much smoother and your truck will be more responsive. I just had it done and I love it. It goes thru gears without even noticing the shifts. It's supposed to increase HP and fuel economy. I haven't had any better mpg yet but the truck definitely drives better and feels stronger.

I did the autocal which I would suggest unless you live near San Diego. It's not really a chip. It tunes your computer system to run more efficiently. Maybe someone will chime in and explain it better than I can.

Actually, with his being a 95 I think it's too old for the AutoCal tune and would, in fact, be a chip. We need Jenna to chime in with her expertise :)
