2008 Yukon XL 2500, what goes in this space in the back left cargo area? The jack is inside this area so I don't think it goes there, but what does?

There should have been a snap off cover...basically, any thing you can fit.
Gloves, tools...what ever, it is just hidden storage.

I see, yes the cover is there. You can see it on the bottom of the picture. Weird shape, which it had a lip or a way to hold stuff in it. We will be putting a first aid kit and small tool kit. Thanks for the info.

6" sub maybe. That is what I thought when I first saw it too and looked online to see if there was a custom sub that used that enclosure, no luck so far. Our rig has the built in sub under the center console and I am pretty happy with that so far. When I need more low end I can always turn up the 18s in my house.
