What in gods name happend to my hood.

So I'm just curious as to what the hell happend to my hood. Today I washed my Yukon and decided that I use some Nu finish and for some reason my hoods clear coat decided to fail and when I say fail, I mean it was obliterated. It looks probably five times worse than the picture. Does anyone know why this did this?

Well the thing is I literally waxed it for less than 2 minutes before it this. Theres small cracks throughout the clear cost and tons of bubbles that formed.

call up nu finish and say "nu uh fix my ****" you have to say it just like that though

Did you do it by hand or with a buffer? And it looked fine before?

There was only 2 small spots of clear coat damage at the very front of the hood and down the both of the lines where the hood dips in. Also some small rock chips in the front above the grill. Nothing at all on the top half of the hood towards the windshield and there is damage there too. It looks like I'll be heading to yards and searching Craigslist for a new hood.

It was hand buffed by the way.
