What is a healthy oil pressure?

Hmmm I put 5 quarts in. I think I may have done 5.5 quarts before. Maybe I'll try that if that won't jack up anything internally.

oil pressure sending unit could be acting up? I don't think overfilling oil would change oil pressure unless you add ALOT. Low pressure could be excess clearances within bearings and stuff which I doubt since you said it has 77k miles. A heavier weight oil will raise pressure and lower will well.. lower it.
