What is the best way to black out the chrome strips along the sides, the bumpers, and the grill? I tried to paint the grill years ago on a 95 suburban and the paint crazed on me. I used steel wool on it to scuff it up and wiped it down with thinner. I dont want it to happen to this one. I want to debadge and black it out.

What do you guys things about the Duplicolor shadow on those moldings. I am thinking it will look great on my grill, front and rear bumper, side moldings and any other piece of chrome that is on my vehicle.
