I use lucas fuel system treatment, Years ago my 87 suburban was running rough and a friend suggested i try it and withing half a tank of gas it was running much smoother.

Now i use it in all my vehicles on a regular basis. I don`t know if it`s the best out there but a lot of people use seafoam in their tank with good results too.

I've used ZMax before and had really good results. Speaking of, I need to run some more through my truck. Usually runs like $40 or so at AutoZone.

Have used Techron before with decent results but do like the Seafoam now. Seems to do better in the seat of the pants.

Seafoam isn't supposed to in "seat of your pants" :hmmm2:

I knew that would get a reaction. The seat of the pants feel from the engine idle and acceleration.

It takes all kinds, don't it!

:lol2:

Watch out or I will tie your tail in a knot, dammit!

I've been using TC-W3 marine oil in my gas for a couple of years now, it's pretty cheap at $13/gallon at Walmart and you use around a 1:500 ratio, roughly 1 oz per 4 gallons.

Found this thread a couple years back and decided to give it a try. I used to use MMO several years ago and always liked the results but the WC-W3 has me sold.

There are quite a few threads on the web that discuss this as a fuel additive. I understand it became more popular after the ethanol blends came out.

No problems after 10K+ miles in my Audi or my STS-V. Only put a few thousand miles a year on the Escalade so I won't throw that one in the mix. I drive 30K miles a year on average so a gallon of this stuff lasts about 1.5 - 2 months. Not bad for $13.
