What is this slot for?

I looked in the manual and didn't see any info on that horizontal slot on the right of the start stop and inverter button or I missed it. Any ideas?

If you had a OEM trailer brake controller, it would go there.

You swipe your credit card monthly, so that you can access your truck. It's a subscription service GM put out this year. Super top secret. Don't tell anyone.

It's not top secret. This has been discussed before. It's for the gubbamint to unlock more driving privileges if you exceed your allotted share. When you've met the limits of your allowed carbon footprint, you use a debit card (has to be a card with a direct link to your primary checking account) to buy more carbon credits to continue driving.

Oh, I thought they were already doing that with the ridiculously high gas and diesel prices. I hope the fees you describe are relative to your latest income tax returns, that’d be awesome

No no no. That's all just a yearly gift that you should have quit questioning long ago. However, it's insufficient. They gotta sneak in other charges for you being so lucky in life.
