What is in this box under the driver seat in my 2023 Suburban Premier?

This is located right in the center, front end of the seat and can be easily grabbed with your hand when seated and reaching underneath.

The reason I am asking is because I’m looking for a discreet place to keep my pistol. I am contemplating using a magnet, but I am concerned about damaging or interfering with electrical components.

Any information would be much appreciated.

Thank you. I’m going to go ahead and assume that it would be a pretty bad idea to put a strong magnet on there!!
