You can’t add the kick panel with brake controller without some serious reprogramming… now an aftermarket brake controller is just 3 wires and a mounting bracket if I remember correctly. Maybe 4 wires… easy peasy.

No just the kick panel I want aftermarket I just think a good place to put it would be there since there's not that many places to mount

I have a question what are these wires for underneath the booster. People have said trailer brake is that so?View attachment 375171
That exact wiring is for the 12v auxiliary trailer feed. This one attaches to the right stud.

The other wire is between the fender and fuse box, it is for an aftermarket controller and goes on the left stud.

If you have the Integrated Controller and wish to run an aftermarket controller, the latter MUST be disconnected first or damage will occur.

Get yourselves a copy of the Upfitter's Electrical Manual for 2009 Light Duty Full Size C/K Trucks and the information for these two starts on page A-53.

The file is too large to upload here.

Wow, they have recently updated the website, things are not organized like they used to be. More files are visible now, will have to spend some time poking around and seeing what is new to be learned.
