How do you like the 740? I had been commuting in a 528 and am looking at 745s and 550s.

Have you had any trouble with it? Accelerate and handle alright?

1-I accidently broke the 6-cd changer, that will cost me 1200$ to fix it.
2-under the left taillight there's a piece gone due to heavy wind, so now I have a small but wide gap between my bumper and the taillight.
3- left angel eyes stopped working anymore, so I had to change the whole headlight because my local dealership doesn't (or maybe can't) sell that separately. I had to pay 1900$ for that.
4- when it rains the water starts to leak in the right back corner.
5- do you know when you turn your engine on and the steering wheel starts
to adjust, it made a noise (you don't hear it anymore when the steering wheel stops adjusting). so I had to pay 380$ to replace that part.
6- the BMW logo in the front fell off lol. again because of the heavy wind.
7- umm what else! I'm sure I forgot something, minor things I guess since I don't remember xD.

sooo yeah the car is sensitive (to me at least) and needs soft hands.
I wouldn't make it my daily use car. especially if you live or go to areas where streets aren't great. the car is getting old and with that once something breaks everything will follow, and man that costs ALOT to fix :/.
don't get me wrong i love BMW's. it handles great. it rides smoothly, super comfy, safety and it hits 160 miles like a boss. gotta love the whole german package. make sure its super clean. (under warranty).

Those are all similar problems as my 528. Well cool. I might go 7 series next time. Your cupholders are better too.

I've only had my 528 up to 140 but it did it quick. Thanks for your reply.

My yukon and pan off lifted vw restore projects argue over who needs attention on the lift.
Please excuse the mess.
I performed a good spring cleaning and then did a bunch of work re-creating the mess :(
