For a 2012 XL Denali, I would like to replace the OE hitch but maintain the factory look, and use the molded hitch cover.
The OE hitch has some light rust, not that bad, but I just want a fresh hitch.
I would also like to have one with a higher rating when not using WD "if this is possible". I'm not trying to cheat the system but if I tow a trailer with a higher ball weight than 600 lbs then I just want that added beef. But I understand that's not all gospel.
I think one factor is the location of the 7-pin connector....that may only be with the OE GM hitch.
