What shocks to buy?

I have an 04 tahoe with 2/3 Mcgaughys spindles & coils on 24''s i need new shocks looking for a comfortable ride and to reduce sway. I dont have autoride.

Bilstein HDs, edelbrock IAS, Rancho RS9000XLs. I have bilsteins for stock height and they're fine for my 5/5 drop, ride really well.

doetsch tech should be added to max's list too...imho. IIRC Edelbrock dropped their IAS line for dropped gm trucks/suv.\

Stock application works on these trucks as long as you're using shock extensions out back (which you should be using regardless - free travel yo :crazy: ). Doetsch Tech are sweet too, foxes and kings if you can afford them.

I have non autoride, and shock extensions, and it didn't lower the full 3" in rear. DJM said it was because of the shocks, said I needed non-self leveling...thoughts?

I have Bilstein's comfort series on my stock height tahoe, and they ride awesome

You need smaller shocks, I ran into the same issue with Nick's truck...beat the hell out of the housings and it still sat 1" higher than my truck.
