I can't agree to not spend money on the old trucks. But many people love the newer trucks.

I'd lift it....but thats me.

Well, do you want to go fast, look pretty, or go places? What you want to do determines how you spend your money. Tell us what you intend to do with your 'hoe and we'll be better able to tell how to do it.

Just got home and i was debating at getting a new truck but its just ******* letting the HOE go. to many good memories i have invested in that thing! I talked to some people at work and they told me i should go with the lift! but at the same time, i want that 383 engine in it! i have a new engine with only 20k miles on it! So if i get the 383, i can sell the 350 i have and maybe get some money back since i paid like 1800 or 1900 for it a year ago. This is just a hard decision because i want both, lifting it and making it faster. At the same time, what ever i end up doing, i know the RENTS will end up Bit4h me out but they will get over it!

do one step at a time.. maybe leave the motor alone since nothings wrong with it, jump to something else instead..
a lift is going to need gears and truetrac in the back.. then move forward, after everythings done, go to the lift then tires/rims...

What are your specs? 7 grand is a lot of money to work with.. dont buy tires if your going to lift it..

That was my thing, since i need new tires and i really want a lift, im thinking to decide exactly what i want to do before i do the tires! Since the engines is fairly new and i have a fixed up tranny with performance clutches, stage two shift kit, vette servo, K&N CAI, pulleys, short headers, Magnaflow full duel in and out exhaust, and BBTune. So i was thinking about doing the full tune up, getting a yank converter, swap the cam, re-gear it with 4.56 gears, ss breaklines, Volant CAI, Dick Cepek lift, XD rims, And would need help with the tires. lol
