What size Ring Gear???

I need to replace my rear wheel bearings. When I look at the parts online there is an option for 9.50 and 8.50/8.625. How do I know what size I need to buy?


It is a 2004 Chevy Tahoe Z71 4x4

my guess is 8.625 i believe the 9.5 was only 3/4 ton
