it the sensor is the same as the one in a c6 dash. it's pretty easy to take the sensor apart to clean it. or short cut, stick a tooth pick in it to block the fan blade from spinning(key off) and hit it with compressed air from a key board cleaner can. the tooth pick is to keep the fan from over speeding and blowing up from the compressor air haha.
should quiet it down. I don't even remove it to clean anymore, just shoot it thru the dash vent when it's annoying. the yukon one hasn't made any noise yet to try it thou.
