What this this harness for?

I just bought a 07 Tahoe LT a few days ago and while I was installing a break controller I noticed this harness with two chopped wires coming from it. Anyone know what it is for? I would look it up myself but I don't have a set of service manuals yet.

I am finding small issues with the wiring and I have a gut feeling the owner before me chopped it up removing aftermarket stuff before they returned the lease.

heated washer fluid canister.

that's the GM fix for it.

So they chop the wires and tape them off LOL. So I am guessing this disables that feature then eh?

yeah. there's a recall on them.

I guess GM had a hard time finding a replacement LOL. If I had that feature I would been so pissed if I seen them do that at the dealer
