I like the way you think. Thats the reason a tune scares me! the trans going out wioth more power less tq managment. I know the compressor vibrates when the air is on and brakes need fixed

Thats all I'm trying to get across nortex. If you do the tune guess what you will be doing. Testing it out, again, and again. If the trans can't take it then your Hoe will be sitting if your wallet can't take it either. Then you end up with a Hoe full of mods naked on her back, and an empty wallet:manos:

Deff do the brakes then see whats up with the air. Nothin worse than smoldering in a vehicle on a nice humid 90* day.:flamingdevil: You can always do the mods when funds allow.

Reality of the possibilities

In taking ownership of a 100K vehicle. The tahoe is a good dependable weapon! Not trying to scare the lad. But as anyones luck would have it about the time you get it where you want it you could end up where you did not want to be. Drive it a while see what happens. I have owned mine since new so I know whats been done, and what the future could hold on what has not.

Call it sensible, paranoid or what ever. I have owned way to many vehicles in my life to know about the time you think all is good it ends up not so. Prepare for the worst, and hope for the best.

Vehicles are funny that way. I work heavy construction, and seen many a GM products beat to death with less than routine maintanence last 200k with out major issues. Flip side I have seen many GM vehicles babied, and routinely maintained blow engines, or trannys at much lower miles below 100k.

thats why I beat and Baby My Girl~
( I would upgrade the Brake rotors and Pads!!! ) that is since they need fixing and you are doing all this other stuff for power! I would also Flush all fluids and Replace with Mobil 1 or Ryole Purple or Amsoil, I would do Vett Servo, and HIDs and swap the headlights and marker lights for some Depos or others.
