Fast forward...

I did the front end rebuild and replaced my peeling steering wheel spokes with the brushed-titanium-look spoke covers. Also replaced my center console lid cover. Added some interior LEDs and really like that change. Added SLP Resonator Delete kit. All that was well under my original quoted budget.

Have not yet replaced my tires, as it turns out they've still got at least 5k miles or more to go before they're done.

Just paid my deposit for the BlackBear Tune. Beyond that, just focusing on maintenance and occasional minor mods and necessary repairs.

How'd the leather console cover install go? Harder or easier then you thought? Pics?

It went fine.....for my first upholstery effort. Lol

Including removing from the the truck, pulling off the original cover and staples, fitting the new on and trimming extra material for proper fit, stapling all and reinstalling in truck, it took me an hour. Not difficult and console looks much better.

P.S. I went with a pleather oem-spec cover off eBay for like $40. Considered the $85 real leather but thought the color match with pleather (at the lower cost but similar feel) was a better bet. I'm satisfied.

All I got left is a blower but I'm afraid I need a 4l80e transmission conversion first and a new transfer case ready to be swapped in as soon as I break the one I have. So I'm thinking it won't happen.

I talked to some members and did some research. Turns out my trans is actually a 4L65E which is a heavier duty version of the 4L60E and since it's also been recently rebuilt, as well as the fact there are others running a blower with a 4L60E, I decided to not worry about the trans. And I hear the NP3 transfer case is good to 600 HP. So... I ordered a Whipple. It's supposed to be here in 2 more weeks . Already have the boost/AFR gauge mounted and ready.
