Looking for a nice single din HU for my 01 tahoe. I would like to get something that performs well and looks good.

Check out the new pioneer deh 80prs

It's got audiophile guts, and is basically a processor and a hu. Can't beat the price either, doubt you will find a better sounding hu for the price.

I just put a Pioneer DEH-6400BT in my '**, I really like it. Has the USP port in the front, you can plug an iPod directly into it, or a USB full of MP3's. The Blue Tooth was only like $40 more and gives you hands free calling and if you listen to music on your Blue Tooth phone you can stream straight from your phone. It has a moderately high powered amp, but my friend/dealer/installer tells me the amp is a chip, not a true amp, he claims I'll get better sound using the factory amp rather than by-passing it and letting the HU power the speakers, so that's what I've done. Crossfire componants in the front doors and Crossfire coax's in the rear doors powered by the Tahoe factore amp with a separate sub set up http://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=41724 and it sounds really good for a comparatively small dollar amount. I have nothiing to compare it too but I'm very satisfied.
