Wheel and tire size?

New to the site. I recently picked up a low mile (83k) 2001 yukon thats bone stock. I'm wanting to put on wheels and tires and I'm old school and not in to the bigger wheels. I priced a set of 16x10 Ion wheels(-38mm offset) with 265/75/16 AT tires. Really just wondering if anyone had a setup like this with some pics? May put a set of torsion keys and shock extenders in front some time but right now gonna stay stock.

16x10 can you even get that wheel to turn?

I don't know. Kinda why I posted here. No one around here runs the old school smaller wheels around here. The man I talked to at the wheel store seemed to think they would fit. I'm just not in to the big wheels. I like 20's or smaller but I'm really just in to the old school 15'''or 16'' x10''. So on the yukon that is why I'm wanting the 16x10.

I prefer smaller wheels as well. Better for offroading and cheaper for tires.

I'm running 16x8 with 285/75 MTs. Just look at my sig for details

If you ever want to upgrade to the 07 and up brake swap you`ll need to have a 17 inch wheel. It`s cheap, easy and a damn good improvement.

I did 2.5" torsion lift with 1.5" rear spacer and went from 265 to 285 tires (almost 33") I did a pro comp 7069 16x8" wheel rides great

The 285/75/16 isn't rubbing? Did you don't any mods or just swap it with your stock size tires?

Latching onto the Post; Do you guys know if i can put 17s on a 2000 tahoe? It currently has 16s, but a buddy of mine has a 2012 suburban with 17s which i might buy off of him. they are 275/70/r17s

I was able to put on 275/70/r17s on my 2000 Tahoe! Looks great!
