Rod, I am not from San Antonio. I live in Dallas.
I used to get them from a guy that has a brother who is a wholesaler/distributor for a lot of tires and wheels. I do not use him anymore though because he started trying to charge me more because I was not bringing as much business from references. I may use him in the future for only tires though but I have a few tire guys that I depend on.

Geez you just had to post some more 55s! I hate my fascination with that wheel!!!!! It's just so pure and simple!
Damn!!!
I did that on accident. I have learned to block them out haha and did not even consider that the Meade Tahoe had those wheels.
I think Meade is a veteran, has taste, and knows his ish, but I do not understand why he still has those wheels. One of his RF T2500bdCP amps (or even his Pirellis) can buy those rims.

Haha I thought the exact same (except for the wheels haha).
I know he gets a lot of parts on major hook ups from manufacturers. That's why he boost them so hard in his YouTube videos. I
would do the same thing too if I had a company giving me free stuff, or stuff for 1/4 of retail price lol.

so searching for brushed aluminum powdercoat I ran across this process (new to me have never heard of it) called hydrograhpics and just had my mind blown!!! My mind is going a million miles an hour with all the possibilities this brings lol

I should be banned from the internet period! lol Found a place locally that on their website claim to hyrdographic for $50 a wheel and have an awesome brushed aluminum example on their site

I have heard of it. It is pretty much the hydrodip process used on interior parts so much on this forum. Companies like Strasse and COR forged also do it.
I say go for it. You will have to take your wheels to someone that wheel remove the face and barrel so that you can take it in to be dipped in pieces. If you show up there with them assembled they will triple the charge when they see the type of wheel lol. That bs has happened to me too many times.

yeah I know $50 a wheel is highly unlikely but the ballpark price range seems very reasonable for the output. I wonder if they can "mask" the dip ie dipping the U2 55 so only the spokes would come out brushed, then it could be taken to powdercoat the lip pearl white and then all together powdercoat cleared....hmmmm lol

Haven't been keeping up, but what happened to the chrome lip idea?
