Wheel Well

I noticed on some new Chevrolet Trucks that the factory is installing some Felt like panel on the inside of the rear wheel wells. Has anyone else seen these?

Yes it's on the new body style pickups (not sure if the SUVs will get it too or not). It's actually a plastic but feels like felt. It's designed to cut down on the road/tire noise inside the cabin.

I saw the Yukon at the Dubai Motor Show and yes indeed it does have the felt like material. The truck looks much smaller than it is too

Same material most of the Europeans use. It really does cut down on road noise.
