I'm waiting to hear back if they sell the long pin separately and total price shipped. It's $22.49 as an add-on to the servo, but I already have the servo.
I guess it comes down to me being willing to pay $22 for this sort of stuff and not $70.
Hmmm... Depending on where the extra length is, maybe I can be super thrifty (or ghetto?) and weld the tip of my stock pin and file it down so that the servo has that recommended 1/16" of travel. Sounds like something I'd try. Or, if that end of the pin is in a socket, a simple 1/16" wafer cut from stainless rod stock would accomplish the same thing. Apparently, it's something that is never fully unloaded so the pressure would keep it in place.
