i routed the wires up between the center gap in the weather seal. then under the plastic trim to the left and to the HU. the wires are basically invisible other than a 3/16 or maybe a 1/4" section. and you can only see them if you know where to look.

Need to take another pic now that it's mounted but ran the camera wire into the stock wire loom. Like it. Put the hitch on gives good viability for grabbing a trailer.

i have mine in the 1" gap between the bumper cover and the bottom of the door. it is tucked about 1/8" in so it hardly ever gets rain on it. it is also very hidden and clean. i have it at an angle and it sees my trailer hitch perfect and all of the road that i need for backing up.

I installed mine in the same location between the center of the bumper and the door. I used an Esky EC170-11 that was $20 on Amazon. Installation was pretty easy since I was able to pick up 12V power for the reverse trigger from the back of the trailer wiring socket just below the mounting point. No need to run a wire up to splice into the tail light housing.

(Please pardon the salt, but it's winter in New England here.)

Curious, are the supplied cables long enough for our trucks? (Or burb/xl)
I would assume they are, im just always double checking;)

I'm getting one, also is night vision necessary with super bright led reverse lights?

I put mine in the same place between the bumper and the hatch. The supplied wires were plenty long, would have reached in a Suburban or XL easy. No need for night vision with good reverse lights.
