I have a 97 2 door Tahoe with manual 4x4 lever. I've narrowed the vibration in my drive train down to my rear DS. I've been trying to find a place that I can purchase a new shaft and am not having any luck. Does someone have one lying around or know where I can order one from?

silly question have you taken it to a drive shaft shop and see if its out of balance? if it is they can balance it and will cost a whole lot less than a new shaft.

That is the problem as I have no way to take it to a drive shaft shop. That's why I was posting this up hoping that someone still had there stock shaft when when they lifted there vehicle.

you do know you can run with out a front driveshaft. but your best bet would to look in the classified section, check junkyards, and watch craigslist

Oh my bad, I didn't specify, I need a rear drive shaft. I've already replaced the front. And I would have had it balanced but my shift linkage has been grinding against it for a while

If you can't find a donor,A good DS shop can build you a new one.

It is driveable, and I could take it to a shop and have them remove and balance it. But the nearest shop is about an hour away and I don't have the time to take off work to do that. I will figure something out, I just thought i would post this here and see if I would get lucky with someone having a spare or knowing where I could get one from.
