And yes, I think that tie down is a T-55. You should have a T-55 if you have ever done your brakes. My set only went up to 50, I had to go buy a T-55 from Advance auto parts for like 7 bucks.

awesome, I have been to that website, I think I even have it bookmarked :D

I will definitely post pics, my "self-made wiring kit" should get here friday, in which case I will install as much as I can Saturday and Sunday. I am a slow worker though, I like to make things as neat as I can. I also don't know all the tricks of the trade so everything takes a while.

Speaking of which, does anyone have any tricks for getting two runs of 0g through the firewall? I was thinking the giant grommet to the right of the booster, but I couldn't even get 4g through it because its double layered and I couldn't push it through both layers.

I really dont want to drill new holes in the firewall if I can help it, it just sounds like a PITA and I'd rather avoid it.

I was thinking either cut a slit in the grommet next to the stock wires and using a wire hanger to pull the 0g through, or removing the tape thats holding the grommet to the stock wire bundle, running the 0g through that hole, and then taping it back up.

any thoughts? tricks?

Two runs of 0g will be very difficult through factory grommet. My single 4g was a pain. I have seen one run of 0g through factory grommet, but different brands have different outer diameter thickness of shielding. I use Knu wires. I have only seen two runs of 0g by drilling new holes in the firewall or running under the truck then drilling new holes from below.

Alright I have pics! My wire n' stuff came in today. Went with 50ft all black, no reason in particular, probably wont use it all though. Got three huge inline fuse holders with fuses, and two terminal adapters for the yellowtop which can each accept up to three 0g wire. The fuse holders and terminals weren't cheap but I figured if I'm going big, I need to do it right make it look good. I didn't really get much done, all I did was get the two wires through the firewall and run them to the middle seat. The factory grommet was a pain to work with but I was able to get them through. It doesn't look great but it works. I started by taping the two ends together staggered by a couple of inches. Then I fed a wire hanger through the grommet from the engine side. Then I made a small hook at the end of the wire and slid it over the tape on the 0g so the wire was pulling on the tape. Then I taped the wire to the 0g and proceeded to pull the wire through the grommet. I was able to get a couple inches of the 0g through before the wire tore through the tape. From there I just pushed and pulled on the 0g until the second cable came through which took a while.

So I'm putting a fuse between the yellowtop and each amp, but I'm wondering if I need more than one fuse between the two batteries. Anyone know? Do I need a fuse on the ground wire also?

hmm.. thinking about moving my amp now under the second seats.. I screwed mine to the box and grounded the wire to the two bolts in the back on the carpet.. Although the pro box moves around a lot and it caused the wire to come off frequently, all I did is used a ratchet tie down and it hasn't moved anymore...

Nice choice for wiring and hardware. Knu website has info you need about fuse sizes, which depends on power of amps you're using. Calling them is good too. You may want to cover the grommet with some kind of tape if you are in a wet weather area.
