Sorry you feel that way. I grew up here too and yes it’s going through some hard times right now but I have faith it will get better. But To say it deserves it? I disagree. I knew things were going to go downhill a few years ago when they projected how many hundreds of thousands of people were going to move here. When that happens to any city, it takes a long time for things to go back to normal after all the housing prices shoot through the roof and the infrastructure including the government services catch up. It’s gonna take time and meanwhile the city suffers. But it’s not the city’s fault, it’s the influx of people. I’m glad it’s gotten a national black eye, it slowed down the influx, maybe we can recover now.
